New volunteer from France: Welcome, Chloe!

Hi, I’m Chloé, I’m 22 and I come from Le Mans in France. I’ve studied sociology, history, and archaeology. I didn’t know what to study for my master, so I decided to do a Civic Service, and I came across VCS. So I’m here for 10 months and I’m very excited to start this new adventure!

This volunteering mission is very important for me because I want to be useful and make a lot of projects with all the volunteers. For ten months, I will go to Daycare center for street children in Shuto Orizari and do some activities with them. My other task is around the project of VOICES magazine and writing some articles on different subjects. I’m happy to have these two tasks to participate in several things for VCS, to discover the different projects and meet a lot of people.

To tell a little bit about myself, I’m passionate about History and archaeology. I love to go to the cinema and I’m a serious series binge-watcher… I listen to music a lot, like french pop or rap, and I’m playing the guitar a bit. I like cooking. I read sometimes but I have never finished a book because I’m always starting a new one. I’m someone who loves to engage myself in some social associations in France.

I’m very excited to discover Macedonia and its people, I think I have a lot to discover and I’m excited to do this. I want to see the country and its beautiful landscapes. This experience is for me a big challenge and I can’t wait to do it. This is an amazing opportunity, and I will enjoy it as much as I can!
