Volunteers Centre Skopje is looking for a volunteer (18-30 years old) from Macedonia who can speak Albanian language to participate in a long-term ESC project “Volunteering in schools in Slovenia” in Slovenia.
Place: Prestranek, Slovenia
Date: August 2023 – August 2024 and October 2023 – October 2024 (both 12 months)
About the project:
Volunteering activity is carried out in primary schools in Slovenia. Long-term goal of the activity is to build the foundation for children and youth so they have the same opportunities in education and in society. Participants are welcomed for one year to actively work with immigrant children and children with learning difficulties. The main goal is to help children in schools, to make them aware of importance of education and to raise environmental awareness. Volunteers will participate in the organization of cultural events in schools and in youth center. They will have the opportunity to implement their own projects with the support of mentors in school and in youth center.

Technical Details:
The project is funded by Erasmus+, so all travel costs (up to 275 euros) will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ regulations. Accommodation, insurance, food and pocket money will be provided.
