Hallo! My name is Lea and I am an 18-year-old high school graduate from Germany.

For as long as I can remember, I always dreamed of moving abroad and discovering new places and cultures. After spending a lot of time researching for opportunities to do exactly that after finishing school (honestly, most of the research was also done during boring lessons in school 🙂 ), I finally stumbled across the project in VCS.

Since I grew up in the countryside of Germany, in a very small and quiet village, the life in Skopje with all its beautiful and sometimes chaotic sides is really new to me, but I am already starting to love it.

While I used to drive the unicycle and take care of my two horses on our farm in Germany, I am eager to find new hobbies and passions here in Macedonia. Maybe I’ll return to Germany as a professional dancer? Probably not, but I will definitely pursue my passion for literature and writing through VOICES.

Anyways, I am really looking forward to the next months here in Skopje, always happy to meet new people and explore the Balkans. Auf gehts!
