Amber Initiatives wants to invite 1 EVS volunteer (Macedonian national) to work on the project ‘ Promoting Community Cohesion’ in the Amber office in Plymouth, England for 12 months placement, starting in June 2018.
The activities planned for the project aims at exploring the themes of migration, and social exclusion, and promote community cohesion and equality. The project addresses the needs of young people to tackle socio-economical issues, discrimination, social isolation, lack of opportunities to gain transversal skills and work experience.
The volunteer will be involved in supporting local migrants, and in development and preparation of information session for local schools. The volunteer will also support Amber staff in preparation intercultural activities, promoting Erasmus+ projects in social media.
The deadline to submit a CV and motivation letter is 10 May 2018.
