While some celebrate New Year or Christmas a silent, eldritch species is threatening the world, the Woodcrawlers. They are not animals. They are tall, silent, and move wrong. They mimic voices and hide in plain sight, becoming part of the trees. The forest falls unnaturally quiet when they are near. When you go to the woods, they are not empty, and you are just a visitor. Choosing the topic of the month is never easy because of how diverse and good the articles are. Reading the articles of my colleagues I learnt quite a lot of things, I loved it and this joy of reading I want to share with you.

I would like to use this opportunity as an editor of the month to wish you all the best in the new year. The future is uncertain and 2026 may not sound like a very peaceful year to come but we can try to make the world a better place by getting involved in our local organisations and communities.
