For me, the seven wonderful days spent in company of young and some older participants from 12 different countries, was an unforgettable experience. Each of us brought a part from the culture and tradition of his own country, a pile of personal experiences and enthusiasm to share them with the group. The issue of the training course focused on the social inclusion and anti-discrimination, questions which have enormous significance for the inclusion of young people (especially, those with fewer opportunities) in the social goings-on, as well as for the fight against marginalization and poverty. The process of sharing our thoughts and views on these popular and topical questions, made from us one homogenous group; through exchanging own experiences and examples that we have met on daily basis in our cities of living, we realized that despite the great distance of the places of living, we all face with same or similar problems and we all have same and similar ambitions and desires. For me, “In Focus” was not only an occasion to focus and to start thinking more deeply about what is happening in my country, but also an opportunity to find out more about life in the countries of Caucasus (which for me has been a completely unfamiliar word). For less than seven days, “In Focus” managed to unite the Caucasus, the Balkans and the EU in a group in one place – the small, pretty town Wisla. There, near the source of the river Vistula, behind the walls of the hotel “Orion”, we have learn what is good food and good fun. This September “The green” hotel, surrounded by picturesque and indescribably magical landscape, testified for a lot of new friendships, true tolerance, moments of joy and laughing by heart.
