Hello! My name is Kübra Nur and I’m 22 years old. I’m from Eskişehir, Türkiye. I study International relations at Ankara University. I’m in my 4th year at university. I love my major which I find really fun to study since I learn mine and other countries’ history and politics.

I wanted to do something different this summer to create a special summer in my life. And I always wanted to  volunteer in a different country through ESC projects. So, I applied for this project because I find it interesting to write articles and design for the magazine. I also think this experience will improve my writing skills and teach me how to organize workshops and events which I will need someday in the near future.

I want to build friendships that last when we are back in our countries too. I love meeting new people with different stories from other cultures and exploring their cultures and languages. I’m really excited to explore Macedonia and its history. I already love Skopje with its nature by now. In my free time, I really love hanging out with my friends so it would be so great to hang out and travel with new friends too.

I believe I will be experienced and satisfied when my project ends. VCS encourages me to talk in English with other people which helps me a lot. Thanks to that I will be able to talk with new people easily. I’m curious how my adventure in Skopje goes and ends.
