Volunteers Centre Skopje is glad to announce that in October 2011 is starting new local project „Bridging Divided Communities by Youth Work“ which will be realized with support of Embassy of the United States in Skopje.

The project Bridging Divided Communities by Youth Work will provide an opportunity to 30 young people in age 17 – 25 to take part in long term training course taking place from November 2011 till the end of April 2012 including different range of activities – presentations, discussions, simulations, field trips with goal to increase participants knowledge (sustainable development, project and conflict management) and their skills (communication, leadership, teamwork) and moreover to provide them an opportunity to get direct experience with non-profit sector and to motivate them to become active in their local communities and contribute to change.

Working language of the long term training course will be English. The participants should be able understand, express ideas and opinions and communicate in English. Also for filling in application form use English, thank you. Important!  We are not looking for perfect grammar. So do not be afraid if your English is not perfect. The most important is interest to participate.
