“Elephants swinging on a spider web under a green flag” was a training course that took part in Sarata Monteoru and Buzau, Romania, in May 2023 with 32 participants and 4 experts from 23 organizations from 16 countries.
The aim of the project was to provide to youth workers new methods and tools for introducing “green priority” in Erasmus+ projects.
The team was very diverse, gathering people from partners’ staff, experienced youth workers but also beginners which led to a fluent transmission of information and practice from one to another.
In the first sessions participants were introduced to green concepts, shared their experiences from local and international activities and step by step became more familiar with the topic. Working both with plenary and teams gave the opportunity to everyone to express themselves and then to reflect on the learning outcomes.
Mile and Mario were the representatives from VCS and they were working together with partners from other organizations on how to write projects. As a part of learning process, there were practical workshops on the topic. The goal was to create new ideas for Erasmus+ projects, which would eventually be realized and continue with the partnerships further on.
The training was finalized with a mini fair where the created projects were presented.
There are several final products from this project that we wanted to share:
- Catalog with gallery and testimonials from participants.
- Magazine with description of activities from the project day by day.
- Facebook educational page with outcomes from the project.
