Volunteers Centre Skopje is looking for 4 people from Macedonia who want to participate together with young people from Albania and Georgia in the ESC – project “Environment matters” in Turkey.
Place: Ankara, Turkey
Dates: September-October 2020 (59 days)
! There might be possible changes regarding the project dates depending on the current situation with COVID-19
About the project:
This project aims to raise awareness about the sensitive issues of the community such as in this case the living environment. It seeks to inspire an active action where both volunteers and locals, after the project, will be the main actors to keep up caring about their space of living.
This is a chance for those who are already striving for the environment but didn’t have a means of contributing. This initiative gives an opportunity to all the youngsters who will join to improve their communication skills and develop new abilities harnessable in their upcoming careers. In the aftermath of this project, participants will be a stepping stone for other initiatives dealing with environmentalprotection.
Another goal is to serve as a good practice for local institutions to carry out other activities/projects with themain aim of protecting the environment. Fostering inclusion via inviting to the project youngsters independently of their background is a priority of this project, as is strengthening the cooperation between organizations, and setting up strong and reliable ties for future collaborations.
