Volunteers Centre Skopje is looking for volunteers (18-30 years old) from Macedonia to participate in a team volunteering project “Archaeology Camp 2026” in Hungary.
Place: Nagyvázsony, Hungary
Date: 21.08.2026 – 13.09.2026
About the project:
Volunteers will take part in archaeological excavations, helping to uncover the history of Nagyvázsony and deepen the understanding of the era of Pál Kinizsi, the renowned general of King Matthias’s Black Army.
Participants will work at the site of a former medieval settlement, carrying out a range of excavation activities, including digging, cleaning and documenting archaeological remains, photography, and using metal detectors to locate artifacts.

Technical Details:
The project is funded by Erasmus+, so all travel costs (up to 309 euros) will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ regulations. Accommodation, insurance, food and pocket money will be provided.
