Hello hello. My name is Furkan, and I’m 23 years old. I come from Konya, Turkey. I’m a 3rd grade computer engineering student at KTO Karatay University in Konya. I love creating something with the newest technologies.

This is my very first Erasmus experience. Sometime before VCS, I volunteered at some foundation to teach Scratch to kids from 7 to 14 years old. I enjoy these volunteer projects. During these projects, I feel much better and more useful. My primary goals in Skopje are to work at the magazine VOICES, do other volunteer activities and events, but also to meet new people, learn about different cultures, and, of course, enjoy the moment.

I really like to build something with coding, like mobile apps, etc. In my free time, I’m working on these projects, watching the F1 races (if this is not a race weekend, I am watching the legendary races again and again), and also practicing violin.

I’m very happy to be here at VCS.
