Hello,

My name is Mehmet, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Türkiye. I graduated in Aircraft Engineering and after that I started my job in the Defense Industry. When working, at some point, I wanted to change my life and to go abroad, so I left my job.

I’m a curious person and I like to see different countries and cultures. Also, I want to improve my English and other languages knowledge, so it’s very good for me in the volunteer centre in Macedonia.

I want to share my passion about Aircraft with my volunteer friends and write articles about technological advantages and disadvantages.

The reason why I chose Macedonia is because I have read some historical books about it.

I arrived in Macedonia two days ago. I have gone abroad already so I’m very eager to go more. I’m glad to have met the other foreign volunteers in VCS, they all are helpful, kind and good people. I will spend two months with VCS family and I hope that this project will help me look from a different perspective and develop my career further.
