The project ‘No Hate Speech: Methods and Techniques Combating Hate Speech’ who is a favorite for winning the ‘Inspiring Project of the Year Award’ by the Portuguese National Agency is coming to its end.
Both activities, training course in Struga, Macedonia and seminar in Braga, Portugal enabled youth workers and youth leaders from 13 different countries to enhance their competences in the youth field. The aim was to improve their skills, related to combating online and offline hate speech, creating social inclusive societies based on respecting the rights of the most vulnerable group (Roma, LGBTIQ+, refugees and migrants). Participants got more theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of social exclusion, discrimination and hate speech and effectively fighting these, also using media tools and creating and implementing campaigns to fight social exclusion, discrimination and hate speech.
Participants as youth workers and youth leaders will disseminate their knowledge in their communities through workshops and peer education. As part of the project there were a few videos produced and a gallery of photos that will help spread the word beyond this project and project partners and the communities that they work in.
Continue fighting hate speech, discrimination and social exclusion every day, each day.
Take a look at the videos and the gallery of photos.
