Volunteers Centre Skopje is looking for 5 Macedonians who want to participate together with young people from Bulgaria, Czechia, Greece, Italy, Poland, Spain and Romania in the Youth Exchange “FROM TRASH TO CASH” in Busteni, Romania.

About the project:
Through this project we aim to increase young people’s awareness of the opportunities for waste recovery by upcycling and the development of business plans that will use the opportunities for transforming waste into objects that can be capitalized. The aim of the project is to increase the environmental sustainability, the quality of life of young people and the employability of the unemployed through the valorization of the waste through upcycling.
Participants…
– must be between 17 and 25 years old (group leader must be 18+, no age limit)
– should speak good English
– should not be ESC/EVS or Erasmus exchange student
– gender balanced is recommended (2 girls/2 boys)
– 2 participants should be unemployed
– must be tolerant and be able to accept all cultures
– will pay a participation fee of 5 Euros
The project is funded by ERASMUS+, so all travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ERASMUS+ regulations (275,- Euros for Macedonia). Food and accommodation will be provided.
