Dear Volunteers, Colleagues, Friends and Supporters,

We have the pleasure to invite you for the event “THE ENERGY OF SHUTO ORIZARI”
which will take place on Friday 1st of March 2013 from 17:00 to 19:00 in Gem Club (Menada, 1st Floor).

This event is an idea of the volunteers in the Volunteers Centre Skopje, who are interested to help the Roma community, especially the most vulnerable – children. The event is intended to increase the visibility of the Roma community in a positive way, and to increase acceptance of this community among the population. The second objective of this event is to show the important role of the day care center for street children in Shuto Orizari and the Center for Social Initiatives NADEZ in the lives of children and their personal development by attending these centers. The third goal that we want to achieve through this event is to display the EVS volunteers work with children from Shuto Orizari over the last 8 months, and their impact.

The program of this event is as follows:

17:00 – Welcome speech and presentation of the project

17:15 – Projection of the documentary “LANGUAGE OF CHILDHOOD”, made by Raphael Bonnet and Sarah Bastable (EVS volunteers in Volunteers Centre Skopje)

17:30 – Experience sharing – presentation of activities of the Day care centre for children from street in Shuto Orizari and Centre for Social Initiatives “NADEZ”, speakers: volunteers working with the children in these centres and representatives of the both centres.

18:00 – Exhibition of pictures and art crafts made by the children during the workshops with the EVS volunteer Nacera Dahes from France.

18:30 – Discussion and refreshments
