Hey! My name is Chloé, I am 22 years old and I come from Marmande, a small city in the southwest of France near Bordeaux.

I am currently in Skopje for three months where I have joined Volunteers Centre Skopje and where I will be completing an internship as an assistant project manager in a local company called Ragusa360.

In general, I am here to enhance my professional experience in event management, as I aspire to work in this field after my studies. I have recently completed a double degree in which I studied information and communication sciences, as well as English civilizations and literature.

What I love about event management is that we can express our creativity and create unique moments of sharing. I believe sports and culture are powerful ways to bring people together and share emotions regardless of where we come from. This is why I loved my experiences volunteering at the 2023 Rugby World Cup, and the 2024 Olympic Torch Relay.

On the other hand, I am also here to grow personally. I believe living abroad is one of the best ways to achieve this. Putting ourselves out of our comfort zone is challenging but necessary for broadening our perspectives. I am grateful to have joined VCS because I have already met people from various countries and learned about them. I have never been to Macedonia and I am excited to discover the local culture and way of living.

This is such a chance to be able to live this experience and I am sure that this will be an amazing one, full of encounters, learnings and lasting memories.
