Hi everyone! My name is Şevval.
I’m from Türkiye, and I recently graduated from Ankara University with a degree in Political Science and Public Administration.
Writing has always been one of my greatest passions. During my university years, I worked as both an editor and a writer for Kazgan, the political satire magazine of my faculty. I also volunteer with UN Women Türkiye, where I contribute to projects focusing on gender equality and combating digital violence.
This is my second international volunteering experience. I previously spent five months in the United States, and now I’m excited to spend the next month here through this project. I truly enjoy meeting people from different countries, listening to their stories, and learning from one another. I believe these connections are among the most valuable experiences life can offer.
In my free time, I love dancing, writing, exploring new places, and having long conversations. For me, traveling is not just about visiting new places, it’s about discovering different cultures, understanding how people see the world, and growing as a person.
I see myself as someone who is always trying to learn. I believe that every person, every experience, and every culture has something valuable to teach us. That’s why I’m looking forward to meeting all of you, building meaningful friendships, and sharing unforgettable moments together during this journey.
