Hi ! I’m Paul, I’m from France and I just turned eighteen in September.
After finishing high school, I was completely lost about what I wanted to do next, and what I wanted to study.
I was living in a small city, so I was seeing the same people all the time. I obviously needed fresh air, needed to meet new people, make new friends, get to know a new culture…
Finally, the way brought me to Macedonia, and I’m very glad the wind went in this direction!
I love all types of sport: football, tennis, volleyball, frisbee, hiking…
I love to discover the history, the cultures, the places, the languages, and the food in the country I’m going to. Macedonia definitely has a very rich history and has not even the same alphabet as mine–that we’ll be the challenge for me to learn the language.
I arrived only two days ago, but I already can feel that this country will be like a home for me for the next few months. I already met people who were all very kind and very welcoming. I also met the other volunteers whom, from the first seconds, I knew I would feel good with!
I met the VCS family who gave me the impression like I had known them for a long time.
Let’s see what the next months bring!
