My name is Mathieu and I’m 19 years old. I’m French and I really like photography, videos and video games. When I have time, I do at least one of three things.

My schooling stops with the obtaining of my baccalaureate, and directly after I have taken the decision to get out of my comfort zone and do things that I feel unable to do. So, I came to Macedonia to volunteer in VCS. I will write articles, as well as take pictures for my articles and during the events.

I do this to challenge myself. It’s quite difficult for the moment but I hope that it will be less difficult with time. The most complicated thing is the language because for the moment I don’t understand everything. Talking in English is challenging but you must not stop, here we must advance, I believe.

I am a person who doesn’t really like change so coming to Macedonia is the biggest thing I ever did. I think that I can be proud of myself after my mobility because I could overcome my worries and fears.

To finish my little presentation, I would like to say to young people and to others of any age to confront their fears and to rush to any opportunity to do so. Let’s enjoy the beautiful things available in this world.
