Hello, my name is Karola and I came to Skopje from the capital of Polish Song – Opole.
I have just graduated from European Diplomacy and an LL.M. in International & European Law. Before officially closing the “kidult” chapter of my life, I wanted to do something meaningful and experience something new. That’s how I decided to join the ESC volunteering adventure.
I simply love traveling and discovering new places, cultures, and perspectives. For me, every journey is a chance to learn something new about the world and about myself.
Over the past few years I have taken part in many different programs and initiatives, always trying to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. I also share these experiences on my social media and try to help others find similar opportunities and encourage them to step out of their comfort zone.
I’m definitely an early bird. One of my favorite moments of the day is drinking a cup of tea while watching the sunrise and enjoying the quiet start of a new day.
In my free time I like to stay active: running, cycling, and sailing are some of the things that bring me the most joy and balance.
I also enjoy reading and exploring topics that inspire me, especially humanitarian law and positive psychology.
Coming to Skopje feels like the beginning of a new chapter full of experiences, people, and stories. I’m eager to see what the next months will bring and to become part of the VCS community.
