Full of energy, smiles and good humour. Sabína, Sára, Patrícia, Katarína and Filip are ready to take over the Youth Olympics!
Sabína Rybianska, 18
Sabina currently studies economics in high school. She has one year left before university, and her dream job is to become a flight attendant or a sales manager. She enjoys healthy activities such as walking her dog, running, cycling, and reading. Her strength is consistency: when she sets a goal, she does everything she can to achieve it and never gives up.
Sára Holosová, 20
Sára is a human being seeking positive changes in life. She enjoys photography. This is not her first time volunteering—she has previously participated in events in Italy and Finland, working with children on book-related activities and supporting youth initiatives. She enjoys hiking, starting the day with a good coffee, and listening to music in various languages such as English, French, Slovak, and Polish. Besides being the go-to person for fixing SIM cards and opening water bottles at the start of the stay, she has a talent for seeing the good in people!
Patrícia Balážová, 23
Patrícia studies biochemistry and biomedical technology. She comes from a happy, ordinary small town and isn’t a fan of high temperatures. One of her greatest passions is traveling: she has visited places like the US, Mexico, and France. She also enjoys meeting new people and hiking in the mountains. Her superpower is problem-solving and being able to adapt to new environments, situations, and cultures!
Katarína Kršáková, 18
Katarína is still in high school. After the holidays, she plans to attend university to study geography. She loves all kinds of sports and practices trail running, alpinism, and cycling. For example, she once ran to Vodno! She also speaks several languages, including Italian and French. Her superpower is courage: she takes initiative and isn’t afraid to express herself or communicate openly.
Filip Anger, 19
Filip has just finished high school. He will study computer science in the Netherlands, as he likes programming during his free time. He is also a scout leader. He has many hobbies, including sports such as climbing, running, cycling and swimming. He enjoys traveling to discover other countries and cultures. His superpower is solving problems: he analyzes and then develops an optimal strategy to find a solution.
Let’s cheer for team Slovakia on their volunteering journey!
