Volunteers Centre Skopje is looking for 6 Macedonians (5 participants, 1 group leader) who want to participate together with young people from Lithuania, Romania, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Youth Exchange “SAVE OUR WATERS” in Jazak, Serbia.

About the project:
Two thirds of the earth’s surface is covered by water and the human body consisting 75 percent of it, it is evidently clear that water is one of the prime elements responsible for the life on earth. Nowadays, worldwide, there are lots of people who don’t have access to drinkable water. Significant influence on water scarcity is affected by growing world population, climate change, irrational usage, wars, etc.
Participants in the youth exchange will develop different tools for sharing knowledge about the importance of water conservation and protection in local communities.
– must be between 18 and 23 years old (group leader must be 18+, no age limit)
– good level of English is beneficial
– should be interested in the topic
– should present their country in an intercultural evening
The project is funded by ERASMUS+, so all travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ERASMUS+ regulations (180,- Euros for Macedonia). Food and accommodation will be provided.
