Volunteers Centre Skopje is looking for 3 Macedonians who want to participate together with young people from Cyprus, Croatia, Spain, Latvia, France, Portugal, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia and Greece in the Training Course “Stitching to Explore: Introducing Etextiles in non-formal education” in Cyprus.

About the project:
With this Training Course, we aim to innovate youth work by introducing new practices based on the combination of crafting textiles with computer programming and electronics, also exchange on tinkering as an emerging pedagogical approach, especially crafting e-textiles as a way to boost female participation in non formal educational activities, and then sensitize youth workers to initiatives around electronic DIY and digital culture.
Participants:
– must be 18+
– youth workers
– young people interested in the objectives of this project and who are willing to share what they will learn in their respective organizations
The project is funded by ERASMUS+, so all travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ERASMUS+ regulations (275,- Euros for Macedonia). Food and accommodation will be provided. There is a participation fee of 40,- Euros, that has to be paid cash during the TC.
