Volunteers Centre Skopje is looking for 3 Macedonians who want to volunteer in one out of 3 ESC volunteering projects in Hungary!
Hortobágy / Debrecen Hungary
1st project (short term): 01.05. – 30.05.2020 (in Hortobágy) / 1 placement
2nd project (short term): 01.06. – 30.06.2020 (in Hortobágy) / 1 placement
3rd project (long term): 12 months starting from 01.03.2020 (in Debrecen) / 1 placement
About the projects:
1st and 2nd project: The volunteers will be working in Hortobágy National Park’s bird resort, including activities like maintaining the park (cutting grass (huge territory), painting the wooden gates, the fences, the bike stands, repainting some of the recovery rooms, building the walking-path of the park) and helping with the recovery of injured birds (feeding, giving water, cleaning the cages, releasing recovered birds back to nature etc.).
3rd project: The volunteer will be working with the members of the association in taking photos, preparing short videos, animations on youth and cultural activities. They will be involved in the different stages of the work depending on their interests and skills. Personal training will be provided to learn these skills. Also the volunteer will actively participate in the trainings of the communication courses (team building, public speech, media literacy, photo courses etc.).
– must be 18-30 years old
– good level of English is beneficial but not necessary
– people with fewer opportunities have priority
The project is funded by Erasmus+, so all travel costs will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ regulations (275,- Euros for Macedonia). Food, accommodation and pocket money will be provided.
